Weekly outdoor coworking · Valencia · Fridays 09:30

Step out of the home office. Into the wild. Together.

Every Friday, remote workers bring their laptops to the Turia gardens and work side by side from 09:30 to 13:30, then eat lunch together. Reserve a table and join the next one.

Try a Friday, free.

    The idea

Work in nature. Eat together. Come back a team.

Offices are where we get things done, but rarely where we connect. Nomads in the Wild gives you one morning a week to trade fluorescent light for open sky: laptops out at low tables, real conversations, and a shared lunch nearby to close it. No trust falls, no forced fun. Just good work and good company, outdoors.

9:30 · Arrive & settleFresh air, set up at your table.
10:00 · Deep work, togetherFocused co-working until 13:30, with 5G wifi and a shared battery.
13:30 · Lunch nearbyEveryone walks to the same table (menú del día around €13 to €15, self-paid).
    Why it works

A small weekly ritual that pays back all week long.

    People who actually bond

Connection built through shared time and food, not a once-a-year offsite. People who eat together work better together.

    Good for your people, too

Daylight, movement and a real reset from the home desk, not just a change of screen.

    An employer brand that shows

"We work in the park on Fridays" is the kind of perk people tell their friends about, and that shows up in hiring.

    Consistent, not one-off

A rhythm you can count on every week, the opposite of an event you plan once and forget.

    New faces, new ideas

You share the space with other companies' people. Natural cross-pollination, no name badges required.

    Zero logistics

We handle the tables, the spot and the setup. You reserve, you just show up.

    Who's behind this

    Hi, I'm Simone.

I'm a product and service designer. I work across the digital and the physical, from screens to spaces to the experience in between. What I love most are the projects where it all comes together: design, a real business model, and a social purpose.

I've been self-employed for years, working with everyone from startups to big corporates, and I've lived across the USA, Asia and Europe. That taught me how it feels to build a life and a team across places, and how much we lose when "remote" means "never together."

Nomads in the Wild is my answer: a design-driven, human way to bring people back together, outdoors, once a week. A simple idea I believe in.

    For brands

    Six categories. One brand each.

Battery, connectivity and outdoor furniture are there every Friday whether a partner is named or not. Coffee, drinks and the cargo bike are open too. One brand per category, exclusive for the founding season.

    What a founding partner gets

    • The category, exclusively, for the founding season
    • Named and linked on this site and on the Friday reservation page
    • Named in every field report
    • Video and photography from the real sessions, free of charge, no licence fee, no time limit
    • A report after every session, including what did not work

The Turia is a public garden, so there are no banners or signs at the meeting point. Visibility is digital, and through equipment in real use.

    Field reports

    What actually happened, every Friday.

A dated, honest record of each session. Real numbers, real photos, including the Fridays that did not go to plan.

    Questions

Good to know before your first Friday.

    Do I need to reserve?

Yes, please do. Places each Friday are limited, so reserving on Luma is how we make sure there's a table and a spot for you. It only takes a minute.

    What does it cost?

Your first time is free. Every visit after that is €15. Lunch isn't included, you pay for your own at the restaurant nearby.

    How can I pay?

On the day, in person, by cash or Revolut. No payment is taken on this website.

    What should I bring?

A charged laptop and water, and a coffee if you want one.

    What's provided?

Wi-Fi from a 5G router that keeps the whole group online, small tables and a seat cushion, and a battery to recharge your laptop (though please come charged).

    Is there coffee there?

Not yet, so bring your own for now. We're looking for a coffee partner.

    Where do we meet?

    Open map

What time is it, and what about lunch?

Fridays, 09:30 to 13:30 of focused work, then we walk to lunch together at 13:30 (menú del día around €13 to €15, you pay your own).

    What if it rains?

A Friday can move or be cancelled, for example in bad weather. If that happens, everyone with a reservation hears from us in good time.

Can my company send a few people?

Of course. Everyone can simply reserve their own spot. If a few of you are coming, or you'd like this more often, just get in touch and we'll talk through the options, including a session set up for your team. Email hello@nomadsinthewild.com.
